Our summer camps were very successful and fun!  We've also been working throughout the summer on our vision of establishing a permanent rowing location in Virginia Beach.  We gave Councilman Chris Taylor a demonstration and he even gave rowing a try.  We have been making presentations at area civic leagues and continue working with the city's Parks and Recreation Department on an intermediate rowing location.  We've been attending the planning and listening meetings for the new Princess Anne High School which is the only high school in Virginia located on rowable water. What a great location for a rowing facility for our community! We also received an endorsement from US Rowing and became a VBCPS Partner in Education.
