All coaches, assistants and officials working with Coastal Virginia Community Rowing are encouraged to work to high standards and adopt best practices where possible. In addition to their own standards of practice, coaches/assistants and officials should be aware of, and adopt:

•  Complete a review of the Coastal Virginia Community Rowing Code of Conduct 

•  Complete a review of the Coastal Virginia Volunteer Guidelines

•  Complete the SafeSport online training course and submit the certificate of completion to the club’s Safety Advisor or Board Secretary.

Coastal Virginia Community Rowing will ensure that its volunteers have a copy of each policy and guidance note that is relevant to their work.
